Life is a jungle, whole heap a rumble, haffe find
a way to prevail. So many trials and crosses, and
enemies. And the most dangerous it’s me.
Mind VS Heart, wata against stone. Who is gonna
overcome and take control? Sometimes I wanna
leave, then I wish to stay. Sometimes I am night,
sometimes I am day. Mind VS Heart, hot against
cold. Who is gonna overcome and take control?
Sometimes I dey smile, and sometimes I cry. Lord
give me light ‘till the day I die.
I’m fighting a war, and this time it’s against myself. I am hurtin’ inside, and me cyaan get no rest.
I smile, I cry, show off, get shy, agree, deny, clear
up and confuse again. I meditate, then love, then
hate, I’ll change, then it’s too late.

double-cut sword, too many talk without saying a
word. And so many parents are ruining dem child
overprotectin’ and getting reviled. Dem nuh want
to suffer so dem live in a lie, keep avoiding reality,
but time goes by.
